The Humio User Interface provides several components to search, visualize and monitor server logs and metrics. This section of the Humio Documentation provides explanations of how to use the User Interface. Below is a list of the major section of it, which includes links to pages describing each in detail, as well as links to other related parts of the Humio Documentation.
It’s in the User Interface that you’ll set up and find respositories of the data containing your server logs and metrics. You can also configure Views of repositories limiting or filtering data based on your interests and security needs.

Once you have data coming into your repositories, you can search that data through the Humio User Interface. It allows for robust, fast regex searches of server logs and metrics contained in your repositories.

You can store often used searches in dashboards, a significant component of the Humio User Interface. They’re a great way to get an overview of your systems. They are composed of Widgets that you create to view server activities in the form of various graphs and tables of relevant data.
Through the User Interface you can set up alerts to trigger actions to let you know when activities on your servers break through parameters, when events occur about which you want to be notified or want some of action to be done.
This part of the documentation will explain the interface, whereas the Alerts documentation page will explain how to create and manage alerts.
To be able to view server logs and metrics, you’ll need proper parsers to parse that data. You can create and configure parsers from this part of the User Interface.
The Files tab of the Humio User Interface is used for importing metadata that can be joined with events at search time. You can manage CSV files that can be used together with the match query function.
The last major section of the User Interface is under the Settings tab. This is where configure some basic information on a repository, as well as create and manage authentication tokens for ingesting data.
